Lee Pengelly
I
am a full-time freelance photographer and writer based
in Plymouth, U.K. I started taking pictures around 6 years
ago and cover the South West region specialising in landscape,
architecture and food photography. I work with 35mm, Medium
Format and 5x4 inch Large Format equipment with Fuji Velvia
(iso 50) as my preferred film stock. I have a collection
of over 6000 transparencies covering many subjects from
the region and can undertake commission work or supply
directly from my files to meet picture requests.
My
work is published locally and nationally throughout the
editorial and advertising markets including books, magazines,
brochures, postcards, greeting cards and calendars. Published
titles include Outdoor Photography, Practical Photography,
Photography Monthly, Amateur Photographer, The Rambler,
BBC Wildlife, Bird watching, NFU Countryside Magazine,
Original Poster Company, J.Salmon and Kevin Mayhew Publishers.
I also currently supply Devon Today magazine on a monthly
basis, with pictures to illustrate features which can
include food and restaurant photography, local business
coverage, news and countryside topics.
2003
will be an exciting year for me with 2 upcoming book releases,
Devon Moods; a collection of photographs from the Devon
area which is due for release in April this year and Devon's
Beautiful Buildings; a collection of building photographs
including prehistoric ruins, stately homes, modern architecture,
follies, castles and cottages. Both titles are being published
by Halsgrove Publishing and are priced as follows; Devon
Moods at £9.99 and Devon's Beautiful Buildings at
£19.95.
